Lory Barton, Executive Director

Lory joined ChristAid late in 2025. She has worked in ministry and nonprofits for nearly twenty years. Past ministry roles include a ministry in Ethiopia with a mission similar to ChristAid’s, and a staff leadership position at her multi-campus church. She has also led development and communications, and served as Executive Director, for several human services nonprofits in Colorado.

Lory and her husband Dave have eight (8!!!) children, three of whom are adopted from Ethiopia. They love to travel and are thrilled to add Uganda to their list of loved destinations.

She is humbled to advance the Kingdom of God alongside ChristAid’s donors, leadership, volunteers, staff, Kids, Grandmas, families, and communities.

Lory’s favorite Scripture is 1 Thessalonians 5:24: “The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.”

Janice coordinates the sending and receiving of letters to and from our sponsors to their Ahadi Kids and Grandmas for Jesus. Her work is one of the many special qualities about ChristAid: Our sponsors and their Ahadi Kids or Grandmas grow real, meaningful relationships together! Before joining ChristAid, Janice was an elementary school teacher.
